Abstract
The focus in much research concerning agents in collaborative virtual environments is on the agent as a facilitator of collaboration between human learners. One of the challenging ideas in agent behavior modeling is how to make virtual agents collaborate with human learners in performing a learning activity or achieving a learning goal. In this paper, we present an overview of existing research work on collaborative agents in virtual environments and propose an agent architecture that handles two-way human-agent collaboration.
