    Abstract

Intracavity nonlinear second harmonic generation from a Q-switched, diode-endpumped Nd:YVO4 laser (1342nm) and subsequent external fourth harmonic generation in BBO have been used to demonstrate up to 20mW average power at 336nm at multi-kilohertz repetition rates.
