Abstract
For an area in SW Queensland, a 1:1 000 000 vegetation map has been constructed on the basis of reinterpretation of a 1:500 000 land system map. Immediately to the south, in a part of New South Wales, 1:250 000 geology maps have been reinterpreted to prepare a vegetation map at 1:1 000 000. West of these areas, land system maps have been prepared using Landsat imagery. This triple junction has been used to compare the effectiveness of the vegetation maps. -P.J.Jarvis
