    Abstract

The emerging practice of commemorating donors may well represent a shift in anatomy education with far-reaching ramifications that include instilling a deeper appreciation for the need to embed humanistic values in medical and science students, adding dignity to the work of staff working with cadavers, and changing attitudes towards donors and donation.
