Abstract
This chapter discusses the interaction of pedagogical documentation with decision-making, social justice, display (particularly the use of photos), community, and assessment in early childhood eduaction. It sums up the many threads moving through the prior chapters of the book, such as the fundamental nature of relationships in pedagogical arenas, the centrality of the image of the child held by decision-makers, and the need to engage with silenced topics that interest and affect children.
