    Abstract

    This article identifies the probable source for one of Constantine Simonides' papyrus forgeries 'discovered' in the Egyptological collection of Joseph Mayer in Liverpool. The papyrus forgery reproduces sections of Gemistus Pletho's fifteenth century collection of sayings attributed to Zoroaster.
