Abstract

This study compares constituency service behaviour of Australian state and Canadian provincial legislators. To facilitate comparison the study replicates earlier Canadian research on constituency service behaviour. The analysis compares the levels of constituency service found between the two countries, sub-national legislators and explains variations both at the individual and the system level.
