Abstract
CW single-longitudinal-mode (SLM) output in the 1120-1140 nm range with a maximum infrared power of 23 mW, and self-frequency-doubled power of ∼1 mW in the 560-570 nm spectral region has been obtained in a coupled-cavity Yb:YAB microchip laser. Tuning of the laser output has been achieved over a 13.5 nm range by varying the crystal temperature. Excellent agreement with modelling of the laser spectra in the single-crystal solid-state laser is observed.
