Abstract

Their is a clear linkage between the efficacy of markets and their regulation. In essence, there are elements in the failure of governance pertaining to markets that has contributed to the Covid-19 pandemic. These element have been under-explored in academic and political commentary and their non-recognition could contribute to future crises.
