Abstract

These Mn-rich rocks contain a wide variety of clinopyroxenes in the Di-Jd-Ac plane; mean microprobe analyses for 43 samples are tabulated. Massive pyroxene-rich rocks contain aegirine-jadeite and impure jadeite zoned via chloromelanite to omphacite. The spread of the 25 samples is consistent with a solvus between Jd60 and Jd85 on the Di-Jd join, but the gap closes at Ac > 20%.- K.A.R.
