Abstract

The article focuses on 2011 world economic conditions. It says that global economy in 2011, if compared to how it was 10 years ago, has three major features, the economic rise of two of most populous countries, India and china, growing influence of European Union, and the continuing dominance of U.S., as demonstrate by consequences of global financial crisis. It tells that in some 200 countries, only 11 have gross domestic product (GDP) greater of that of U.S., and none has GDP greater than 40%.
