    Abstract

This Chapter will explore issues related to curriculum decision-making in early childhood settings. We will consider three key questions related to contemporary curriculum for young children. First, how can we acknowledge children as capable and resourceful? Second, how can we foster children's genuine engagement in learning? Finally how can we make our professional decision-making visible to children, families and staff?
