Abstract

An accumulated experience in geology shows ineffectiveness of the existing approaches to make a prognosis of the deposits when the available crust characteristics do not have explicit relationships to a given deposit. That takes generally place in cases of more valuable deposits as gold, diamond and so forth. The present paper proposes a use of an Artificial Neuron Network for prognosis of diamond deposits that was successfully carried out about 20 years ago while the worked out method makes it possible its application to any other ores or natural resources.
