Abstract
A model of integration of mobile IPv6 and ad hoc networks is provided. The key problems of the integration are analyzed, and the implementation of the system is given. Such integration is beneficial to both societies. The service areas of home agents are not limited to hosts within single wireless hop any more in term of mobile IPv6; and mobile hosts can enjoy free roaming between different ad hoc subnets in term of mobile ad hoc networks.
