    Abstract

On the analysis of current multicast services scheduling algorithms for wireless communication system, SC-PPMS based on popularity and SC-SPMS based on similarity were proposed for single cell multicast services scheduling in the scenario that each MS received more than one multicast services simultaneously. The simulation results show that the SC-PPMS and SC-SPMS algorithms can reduce the total wake up times of MSs in the cell significantly, thus reduce the total energy consumption, at the same time, both two algorithms can guarantee the MS's QoS. Finally, the application scenarios for each algorithm were analyzed based on the computational complexity and the bandwidth occupation rate.
