Abstract

The single layer reduction (SLR) formulation is presented to compute the dielectric loss of a multilayer coplanar waveguide (CPW). The SLR computes the dielectric loss with good agreement against the computed results obtained with help of the method of moment (MoM) based software LINPAR. Accuracy of the SLR is comparable to the MoM. It is computationally faster than the MoM.
