Abstract

Research which centres Indigenous LGBTIQ+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex and queer) peoples requires situated and intersecting textual analysis beginning with LGBTIQ+ Indigenous authors, subjects, theories and critique. This chapter explores a range of texts which assert “Indigenous Sovereign Erotics” (Driskill, 2004) in the context of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander LGBTIQ+ use of social media and the internet.
