Discrimination and reliability - Menzies Foundation health and fitness survey

    Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

    Abstract

Questionnaires on health and fitness were administered to groups of junior high school students (aged 10 or 12 years) and senior high school students (aged 14 or 16 years). After two weeks, the same students were asked to complete the same questionnaires. As a result, data were obtained from 163 juniors and 139 seniors who responded on both occasions. These data may be used to determine the extent of the variability of the responses from students on the two separate occasions (reliability index). In this paper, the resulting indices for the two groups are summarized and compared.
