    Abstract

The Pauline corpus is a comparatively small collection. Outside of the New Testament no authentic letters are extant. Within the New Testament all are agreed that there are seven authentic letters. The other six are 'spoken against', antilegomena. These six command the attention of many scholars intrigued by the problems of authorship they generate.
