Abstract

Characters are presented to enable identification of three similar species of lynx spiders (Oxyopes molarius L. Koch, Oxyopes amoenus L. Koch and Oxyopes gracilipes (White)) commonly found in cotton in northern New South Wales. The aim is to enable non-specialists to readily distinguish between these species so that they can be better incorporated within an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) framework.
