Abstract

A dual band metasurface circular polarizer using twisted split ring resonators is proposed to demonstrate asymmetric transmission of linearly polarized (LP) wave to circularly polarized (CP) wave at two bands. The simulation and theoretical results demonstrate polarization conversion which realizes the orthogonal polarization conversion for transmitted electromagnetic wave. Receiving both the left-handed circular polarization (LHCP) and right-handed circular polarization (RHCP) waves at 15.30-17.43 GHz and 13.56-15.20 GHz. The axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 10.93% and 14.20% is calculated at both bands, respectively.
