Dynamical properties of the delta-kicked harmonic oscillator

Abstract

A computation of ladder structure of slow modes in a generic shell model of passive turbulent advection was discussed. The shell model was defined on a space of scales associated with wave numbers kn=k oλn indexed by nεZ. The propagator for the correlation functions had ladder of slow modes associated with each zero mode. It was observed that the slow modes decay algebraically fast as opposed to exponential.
