Abstract

An instrument package, based on a tunable diode laser absorption spectrometer and comprehensive micrometeorological instrumentation, has been successfully developed for making dry deposition flux measurements, using eddy correlation techniques. Preliminary results from the field testing and evaluation of the instrument package at a rural location are presented. Low deposition velocities were measured for NO2 and SO2 to snow.
