Abstract
We wish to comment on the study by Dr. Goldhill and colleagues [1]. The aims of this study in critically ill patients, as stated by the authors [1], were to: a) investigate the absorption of cisapride; b) assess the effect of cisapride on gastric emptying; and c) assess the usefulness of clinical signs of gastric emptying.
