Abstract
An analysis of effective bandwidths for wireless networks was performed. The problem of reverse link resource allocation was addressed in a multi-class cellular network with specific network quality of service (QoS) guarantees. It was observed that a single linear constraint on the user intensities or a set of linear constraints could be characterized well even if the desired QoS targets were not achieved.
