Abstract

Efficient frequency extension of a diode-side-pumped, Q-switched 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser generating ∼5 W at 5 kHz has been demonstrated by way of intracavity SRS in crystalline Ba(NO 3) 2 (1197 nm), KGd(WO 4) 2 (1158 nm and/or 1177 nm), LiIO 3 (1156 nm) and PbWO 4 (1170 nm).
