    Abstract

We study a class of linear hyperbolic systems subject to boundary control. We show that the set {ρ1}, i Ζ can be assigned as closed loop eigenvalues by the application of delayed boundary feedback, where the set {ρ1} is subject only to a controllability condition and an asymptotic condition. Since the type of feedback used requires only boundary information over a fixed, finite time interval, it is important in applications.
