Abstract

Zirconium and hafnium contents are presented for zircons from gabbros, diorites and granites of the Yeoval Diorite Complex. The zircons are of varying grainsize and occur either as inclusions in, or along the grain boundaries of, different minerals. The physical properties of the zircons summarised here support other data which indicate that no genetic relation exists between the diorites and granites, whereas the zirconium and hafnium results are inconclusive.
