Abstract
This section offers news briefs related to studying geography in 2013. Australian Geography Teachers Association (AGTA) patron Tim Costello is endorsing the F-10 curriculum on geography in Australia. A report from the U.S. National Science Foundation outlined the importance of geography in preparing young people to address a series of global challenges. Topics to be addressed at a symposium on Producing Geographers for the 21st Century are reported.
