    Abstract

    This chapter discusses the environmental relationships between individuals, business organisations (or corporations) and nature. It does this by outlining belief systems based on distinctions between: indigenous and western cultures; and authropocentrism and ecocentrism. The chapter closes by linking these belief systems to sustainability.
