Self-interest in Brussels will work in Putin's favour With credible evidence emerging that it was probably pro-Russian rebels using a Russian-built missile and technology to shoot down Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 over eastern Ukraine last week, pressure is building on the EU to follow the US and apply harsher economic sanctions against Russia to end Moscow's destabilisation of Ukraine.
