Abstract

The monograph is a descriptive analysis of the Cuban Communist Party focusing in the evolution and its role in the consolidation of the revolutionary regime in Cuba. The research study is based on such primary sources as available government documents. Official and unofficial reports of the four congresses of the party and related declarations. Yet another important source of primary consideration consists of interviews with the party members. In an effort to collect the important source material, the author made field research, visiting Cuban studies institutions and the United States.
