    Abstract

There are a range of contradictions, possibilities and constraints in terms of using digital technologies to address sustainability goals. This conclusion offers a brief overview of what I perceive as the main themes put forward in this collection, before offering a coda in the form of a walk through, and along-with, a digital thing's imagined journey. The coda traces an imagined path of a nature selfie to trace its 'loose ends and missing links' and delineates some of the tensions, contradictions and possibilities associated with seeking better digital and environmental futures.
