Abstract
The receiver system for a rotational synthesis telescope must provide facilities for electronically tracking a radio source as the individual antennas follow that source. A novel tracking technique using a computer generated synthetic source in the field centre is described. The system provides continuous phase tracking for all pairs of antennas.
