Abstract

High levels of physical violence reported by Indigenous women - report produced by Australian Law Reform Commission (ALRC) and NSW Law Reform Commission contained 187 recommendations for reform - consistent definitions of family violence - difficulties accessing culturally sensitive services and facilities - cultural barriers.
