Abstract

The fast and accurate closed-form expressions based cavity model, is present to compute the resonance frequency and bandwidth of equilateral triangular microstrip antenna by using its equivalents rectangular patch. The computed results compare against the available experimental results, the results of full-wave method and results obtained by method of moment (MoM) based Ensemble. The present model has better accuracy than the full-wave method and Ensemble. The model is very fast and accounts all kind of losses in the resonant frequency.
