Abstract
In this paper, we study the finite-time leader-following consensus problems for multi-agent systems. By using the finite-time stability theory and adding a suitable nonlinear protocol, we prove that the multi-agent system can reach the leader-following consensus in finite time in the networks with undirected topologies. The effects of control parameters on consensus time are also analyzed. Furthermore, numerical examples are provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the theoretical results.
