Abstract

A slow jazz (swing) instrumental ballad arranged for jazz quintet alto saxophone, bass clarinet, trombone, double bass, drums). Some chromatic harmony with notated solos support/backgrounds throughout the composition. Composed as a feature for the alto, the composition can be opened up to support solos from all ensemble members.

Instrumentation: Alto saxophone, bass clarinet, trombone, double bass, drums.
Duration: 5 min.
