Abstract

FIVE new pulsars have been found in the course of the pulsar search programme at the Molonglo Radio Observatory. The system used has been described previously1. The new pulsars have been designated MP 0818, MP 1359, MP 1604, MP 1857 and MP 1944 (Table 1). The first four were found by checking suspected pulsars on search records made during the past 12 months; MP 1944 was discovered in August 1969.
