Abstract

Fixation of SI joint with lag screws requires and accurate technique for the screw placement. Injury to the vital structures including the SI nerve root and the internal iliac vessels by misplaced screws is a risk.If closed reducation is unattainable, significant exposure can e avoided using a percutaneous technique. A radiolucent fracture table is required for reductions.
