Abstract
The article discusses the influence of time spent in the U.S. and Canada on the poetry of the Australian author Francis Webb, with particular focus given to the poems "Dawn Wind on the Islands," "Serenade to the Favourite Movie-actress," and "From a View of Montreal." Webb's relationship with the illustrator Norman Lindsay is also touched on.
