    Abstract

Freeze Frame is a speculative fiction that imagines a world in which Cinema is inextricably linked to the afterlife.

Freeze Frame conjures a world in which cinema and the afterlife are intertwined. Set in an isolated community that boasts the world's last remaining cinema and run by a group of redundant Greek Deities, the narrative cross-fades between a world irrevocably transformed by climate change interlaced with the cinematic characters.
