Abstract
A wideband full two-port end-to-end characterization for single-mode and hybrid-mode coaxial-probe-fed dielectric resonator filter configurations is presented using FDTD and matrix-pencil signal extrapolation. Modal extraction techniques for unmatched ports are used employing Mur's ABC. The effect of coaxial probes and coupling slots are included, and S-parameters are extracted. The computed S-parameters compare well with measured results.
