Abstract

In this chapter we develop rigorous mathematical models for open resonators and radiators of pulsed and monochromatic waves with waveguide feed lines. Analysis of such structures is of considerable importance for solving a large number of theoretical and applied problems in microwave engineering, antenna design, and high-power electronics. The exact absorbing conditions described in this chapter provide a rigorous framework for these studies.
