Abstract

Gender, Work & Organization is an internationally recognized journal established in 1994 to publish critical gender research with a specific focus on work and organization. In 30 years, the community surrounding the journal has become increasingly global, reflecting the urgency to critique mainstream theory and practice surrounding gender. The fight for gender equality continues around the world, and understanding the power relations that shape inequalities at a global and local level demands attention.
