Graphene photo-detector enhanced by plasmonic coupling

Abstract

A graphene-gold photo-detector produced enhanced photocurrent due to absorbed surface plasmons with ppolarized near IR excitation light, when compared with spolarized light. Charge doping was characterized by Raman spectroscopy at different positions on the graphene.
