Abstract

One of the central concerns of the discipline of geography is the study of humanenvironment relationships over time and space. Geography is one of several disciplines that have played a key role in investigating diverse environmental issues such as the impacts of agriculture, mining, development, globalization and urbanization on the earth's systems and processes.
