Growing up in Pompeii: Roman childhood and adolescence

While we know much about adults in Pompeii, little has been written about its children. Unlike their modern counterparts, Roman children appear to have had more autonomy anmd agency: these forgotten residents of Pompeii played an important role in society and made many contributions to the life in the vibrant ancient city.
