The reaction of four Tröger's base analogues with NBS and NCS to afford mono and/or dihalogenated products is described. They constitute the first examples of introducing a halogen onto the aryl rings of a Tröger's base framework bearing pre-existing substituents and offer access to non-symmetric (hybrid) compounds.
