Abstract

In this paper, we have studied the high beam quality generation from compact kinetically-enhanced copper vapour lasers (KE-CVLs). We have found that the output powers of small-scale KE-CVLs (15-25 mm ID) are nominally 90-100 W at pulse repetition rates 20-30 kHz and efficiencies >1.0%.
